A little bit about me
My name is Madeleine Wallach
I am originally from Middleburg, Virginia in the US. I graduated from The University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Photography, Media and Global Sustainability. Growing up in a family of photographers, I started professional photography at a young age photographing racehorses and have since gone on to cover everything from wildlife all over Africa to weddings and events at home in the states.
There is one thing the photograph must contain, the humanity of the moment.

My photography has always leaned towards a more documentary style. I love the idea of being able to capture a single moment in time. I love being able to stay present in my work and not be caught up. in the stylization of it, rather to simply trust my eye and the camera. Often times the best image are the spontaneous ones.
